NOTE: All new Kitty Tubes come with awnings. This awning/clear door flap combination will only fit previous model Kitty Tubes that have the Kitty Tube LOGO on the side.

The awning can be bought as a replacement for any Generation Kitty Tube. The main door awning has been completely re-designed for improved rain/snow protection, a better fit, better retention and it now includes a gasket to eliminate any water weepage around the edges. The removable clear, flap door can be used to repel wind. It will also help keep heat inside the Kitty Tube during cold weather seasons.  The awning and clear, flap door can be installed and removed easily without tools.  It will truly make The Kitty Tube the most weather protected cat house on the market.

-This set includes: one door awning, one removable clear flap door, one awning gasket and one horseshoe to lock the awning in place.

-This awning is a significant upgrade to our original awning. Comes with instructions to install.

    Awning and clear flap door

    This awning is so much better and sturdier than the original awning. Our original awning broke when our lawn guys moved the kitty tube by carrying it by the old awning, guess they didn't notice the hand grips near the top. Very easy to install plus it has a horseshoe shaped piece that goes on the inside to lock it in place. Also comes with a gasket to ensure that no rain leaks inside. It hasn't had an awning since last summer, letting our feral kitty get used to the awning being there before we add the plastic clear flap door. Very well made, well worth getting, you will not be disappointed.

    I just want to say that I have had a Kitty Tube since August, 2012. It has worked great for our feral cat. We had to make a couple of modifications from our observations throughout the years, but Kitty Tube is a great product. We decided to add the awning due to the snow blowing at the angle inside the tube and also the neighbor's dog constantly peeping into the tube to look for the cat. With the awning, it looks like our feral is less afraid to stay inside the tube when the dog is peeping. The cat didn't like the door flap, so we removed it. Overall, wonderful product.

    I was given an older Kitty Tube for a neighbor's feral cat. This is a great addition and easy to install. Now I just need the cat to use the tube!
