The awning can be bought as a replacement for any Generation Kitty Tube. The main door awning has been completely re-designed for improved rain/snow protection, a better fit, better retention and it now includes a gasket to eliminate any water weepage around the edges. The removable clear, flap door can be used to repel wind. It will also help keep heat inside the Kitty Tube during cold weather seasons. The awning and clear, flap door can be installed and removed easily without tools. It will truly make The Kitty Tube the most weather protected cat house on the market.

5 New Doorway Cover

My outdoor cat tried to tell me something was wrong with his Kitty Tube. When I took it apart I found the insides were soaked. That's when I found the parts at the website that would let me upgrade my first generation KT and hopefully keep it dry. The service from the owner has always been good. I appreciate the free shipping on parts and love the fact that I am able to replace any part on my KT if necessary. I sing the praises of this Kitty Tube to all of my cat friends. My cat was a stray who is not yet brave enough to become an indoor domesticated cat. The heating pad keeps him toasty warm and the safety of the Kitty Tube gives me peace of mind. It is a great product.

Love this house for my 2 outdoor cats. They love it to. The young girl goes back in immediately following breakfast every day it's questionable weather. I can't say enough good about it and have been selling them to all my friends with outdoor cats.

5 Best Cat Shelters Available Anywhere

Last year I installed 3 Kitty Tube shelters which saved the lives of 4 feral cats this past brutal winter. They are all still alive and well today. Our outside babies had fun scratching the base insulation and although still very much intact, we decided to replace them. All other insulation (sides and tops) are still in brand-new condition. One of the cats must have treated one of the awnings as a toy - probably knocked it off and tossed it about the ravine. Although the web site does not advertise individual parts as available for purchase, I was successful in doing so by contacting the store's owner who was most accommodating. In less than a week, all the way from USA to Canada, I received all ordered parts and for a very reasonable price. The Kitty Tube is one of my very best shopping experiences! Great owners, a pleasure to deal with. Shop from the Kitty Tube you will not be disappointed.

The awning really completes the Kitty Tube. I have a feral cat that I really wanted to provide with a safe secure house and the Kitty Tube definitely fits the bill. He was staying in a little dog house for a while and although he seemed happy I think he loves his Kitty Tube. He seems to spend more time in there even foregoing time with his feral buddies and I feel good knowing he is safe and out of the elements. Thank you!

I love the kitty tube and adding the awning made it even better!!! The kitty tube is roomy, easy to clean and very durable. The awning shields any wind giving more protection. Best outside cat house on market !

The Kitty Tube door awning is a very snug fit and keeps rain and snow from blowing in the door. I would recommend this product.

I was looking for a way to keep rain out of my Kitty Tube. Leave it to the good people at Kitty Tube to design a great solution. A good value. I ordered the awning on a Tuesday; within two hours of my order, I received an email that the product had shipped (free shipping). I received it (across the country) two days later. Impressive customer service, Kitty Tube.
