The Kitty Tube Safe Low Voltage Outdoor Electric Heating Pad with Soft Fabric Cover

Our soft and flexible heating pad is always on, emitting a consistent, low level of warmth that, in conjunction with the Kitty Tube's insulation and design, creatimng a cozy cocoon to keep your cat warm and comfortable in cold weather. No need to mess around with thermostat settings or concerns that the pad it too hot for your feline friend. This low voltage, always on heat is the perfect addition to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the coldest of weather. Can be used with either our Kitty Tube Pillow or Straw option!

This heater is a SAFE design- meaning there is no high voltage power inside the Kitty Tube. This design eliminates the risk of fire or electrocution to your pet. The plug in adapter and cord are waterproof and safe to use outdoors and can be used with a outdoor rated extension cord if needed.  

  • Always on, soft, warm and completely rated for outdoor use
  • Safe low voltage design
  • The Kitty Tube heating pad provides continuous heat which will never exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit. (105 degrees F is the maximum safe temperature for cats)
  • AC 100-240 Volt input. 12 volt DC output to the heater. Power consumption is 18 watts
  • Rated and tested for indoor and outdoor use. The heater and all components are fully sealed and waterproof.
  • Measures approx. 16" round
  • Safe to use on top of either our pillow or straw bedding.
  • Size gives kitty the option to lay on the heating pad or next to it.
  • The cord length runs approximately 4' chew proof plus 4' regular cord from outlet to the Kitty Tube. 
  • Breakaway cord design allows the heating pad cord to be run through a small, designated hole on the side of The Kitty Tube.

How to test to see if your heater is functioning properly:

Since our Kitty Tube Heating Pad is so low voltage, sometimes customers wonder if it is functioning properly. To test this, bring the heater indoors and roll it into a burrito shape. Plug it in for 10 minutes and then slip your hand inside. If it is warm, then it is working properly. This low voltage, always on heat is all you need to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the cold weather.

    First, the two kitty pads were easy to put together. Our two cats were drawn to them immediately in our hay loft, and I'm p[leased to say I worry about them less now when I don't see them!

    Keeps the Kats warm!

    The heating pad is so great for our feral cat to get warm in the Kitty Tube. He doesn't yet stay in the Kitty Tube over 20 minutes @ a time, but he is in and out of it throughout the night. I wrapped it in a plastic pillow protector to keep it clean. Then,cut up a blanket and put it over the heating pad. My husband made a copper awning to keep rain and snow out - so far it has worked fin. Feel good we are helping this poor little creature. And, I'm not even a "cat person." :)

    I feel better knowing that no matter how cold it gets, my little guy will be comfortable....his kitty tube + heating pad seems ideal

    The Kitty Tube arrived and it took about five minutes to put together. The house is so sturdy and well insulated, not to mention how well it looks. The hole is the perfect size for my two stray cats to get in and stay. They love it!! Took about two minutes for them to crawl in! The heating pad works really well. Not too hot, just perfect. I will tell everyone I know about this, I think it is a wonderful solution to shelter my kitties!!!!

    The Kitty Tube heating pad works perfectly under TKT pad. It is well constructed, chew proof, has a plenty long cord, and is low voltage. Best of all, TKT has a hole ready to accommodate this nice accessory! Perfect for cold MN!

    Warm and Cozy

    The custom heating pad is a perfect fit on top of the kitty tube bed. It is so soft and flexible, which lets my cats roll and move around freely and comfortably. The last heater we had was very stiff and was rectangular so it limited their movement and comfort. With their new heaters, they each sleep contently in their nice warm homes and they couldn't be happier. The heat is just enough to not be too hot while keeping them warm and toasty on very cold New York nights. I also love the safety feature because I felt nervous leaving the other heaters on at night or when we were away, but the safety plug takes away that worry. The custom heating pad is just as good a product as the kitty tube itself. IT is well thought out and of great quality.
