The Kitty Tube Safe Low Voltage Outdoor Electric Heating Pad with Soft Fabric Cover

Our soft and flexible heating pad is always on, emitting a consistent, low level of warmth that, in conjunction with the Kitty Tube's insulation and design, creatimng a cozy cocoon to keep your cat warm and comfortable in cold weather. No need to mess around with thermostat settings or concerns that the pad it too hot for your feline friend. This low voltage, always on heat is the perfect addition to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the coldest of weather. Can be used with either our Kitty Tube Pillow or Straw option!

This heater is a SAFE design- meaning there is no high voltage power inside the Kitty Tube. This design eliminates the risk of fire or electrocution to your pet. The plug in adapter and cord are waterproof and safe to use outdoors and can be used with a outdoor rated extension cord if needed.

  • The Kitty Tube heating pad provides continuous heat which will never exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit. (105 degrees F is the maximum safe temperature for cats)
  • AC 100-240 Volt input. 12 volt DC output to the heater. Power consumption is 18 watts
  • Rated and tested for indoor and outdoor use. The heater and all components are fully sealed and waterproof.
  • Measures approx. 16" round
  • Safe to use on top of either our pillow or straw bedding.
  • Size gives kitty the option to lay on the heating pad or next to it.
  • The cord length runs approximately 4' chew proof plus 4' regular cord from outlet to the Kitty Tube. 
  • Breakaway cord design allows the heating pad cord to be run through a small, designated hole on the side of The Kitty Tube.

How to test to see if your heater is functioning properly:

Since our Kitty Tube Heating Pad is so low voltage, sometimes customers wonder if it is functioning properly. To test this, bring the heater indoors and roll it into a burrito shape. Plug it in for 10 minutes and then slip your hand inside. If it is warm, then it is working properly. This low voltage, always on heat is all you need to help keep your Kitty Tube toasty warm in the cold weather.

    Heated Pad for Kitty Tube

    My feral kitty loves her Kitty Tube bed and the warming pad. When the warming pad that I purchased last winter stopped heating, she wasn't happy. It was still under warranty and I received a speedy replacement from Kitty Tube. I love their products and excellent customer service.

    Good Engineering

    Being a multi-trade technician and general nerd, good engineering is highly important to me with any product I am evaluating to buy. I've been through the gammut of heated and unheated cat houses for a semi-protected space outside, and while all those products have served us well, this pad and KittyTube enclosure in general are at the top of all choices, short of a wooden or metal house. The idea of a low-voltage heating pad is brilliant for durability, AND safety. With this design there is no need to worry about a fire hazard when you are away from the house, nor will this pad ever be a shock hazard for your beloved pet. Plus, the choice of a coaxial connector is well considered on two counts. One, that you CAN disconnect the heating pad, serves well to replace either component upon failure, without replacing the entire assembly. Second, the coaxial connector is simply the best choice for outside use, providing physical durability and pretty robust water resistance. I would take steps to prevent the connection from being rained on or laying in a puddle of water, but the occasional spray of water and excessive humidity will not hurt this connector pair for many years. Just make sure you clean and dry both parts at the end of each season, and perhaps even wrap it tightly with a foot of Scotch 88. I'm buying two more houses with the pad, AND the pillow.

    Kitty Tube Cat Bed and Heater THE BEST

    I purchased the Kitty Tube and my outdoor cat went into it the first day/night I put it out. I then ordered the Heating Pad for extra warmth and comfort. This is an amazing product and worth EVERY CENT. No regrets whatsoever. My cat sleeps in it everynight and naps in it everyday

    I like the kitty heater, and the cat does too. I had trouble with one not working after a month, and the kittytibe company replaced it promptly for me.I have a hairless cat inside who wants to be on the side of her bed. She is on it all the time. it's just the right temperature for her. I wish all my feral cats outside would get along and not hiss and growl at each otherand would share the tube. If that would happen I would purchase another one. Right now only one can inhabit it at a time.

    The heating pad keeps my cats warm every night in their Kitty Tube. They could not be happier - and neither could I. You will not have to worry about your cat or cats being kept warm and protected. The Kitty Tube with the heating pad is the best thing ever. No more worrying about your outside cats - what a relief!

    We were so happy to receive this product because last year we had to go out every several hours to microwave the heating disc to keep our feral kitty warm. He has since become a very spoiled house cat and we hope that his mother and father will make use of the heated kitty tube this year. My only problem is that I only have one outlet on the side of my house next to the driveway and will have to get an outdoor extension cord to bring it under the bushes in a more secluded spot. We love our kitty tube and now it is perfect with the warming pad!

    Fantastic shelter. The homeless cats that I feed took to it naturally and even had kittens in it! It kept them warm and dry. I'm very happy to have found this shelter.

    I folded over a couple of fleece blankets to put over the pillow. I found that the heater got so warm and cozy that I tucked it underneath both of the blankets and on top of the pillow. I thought it wasn't going to be "that" warm of a heating pad. When the temperature dropped the kitty tube was definitely used. I'd say my "Queen of the Night" definitely approves!

    I purchased the Kitty Tube & heater for 4 cats who adopted me this summer. They had no problem using their "house" when the temperature got down below freezing. Good company to do business with.
